LONG BEACH, Calif. ?uro;" The National Pronto Association awarded DENSO Sales California (DSCA) the Original Equipment (OE) Supplier of the Year award. The award was presented to Frank Cisek, senior manager, Automotive Aftermarket Sales during Pronto?uro;â„¢s fall membership meeting on Oct. 1-3, 2008. Pronto also awarded DENSO the OE Supplier of the Year Award in 2006.

The National Pronto Association, an organization of independent automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors, auto parts stores and auto service centers, has members throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. Pronto members were asked to rate each vendor in the OE vendor category on the following five criteria:

· Profitability
· Prompt delivery
· Service
· Support
DENSO supplies Pronto with oxygen sensors, spark plugs, starter/alternators, spark plug wires, fuel pumps, wiper blades, receiver dryers and oil and air filters.
